It is awarded to individuals who have a proven track record in educating adult learners, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulators, and demonstrating a commitment to financial literacy.
The AFEd certification is designed for professionals with less than 2 years of experience in financial services, including advisory, mortgages, insurance, and estate planning. This designation provides a fundamental understanding of essential financial education and planning principles, helping professionals establish a career as financial educators.
